I just got around to opening the link and read about the gold claims for sale. Has anyone here bought one or know of anyone who has bought one? I just wondered how it works and would it be a smart place to put money now considering what the furture looks like. It LOOKS great but I'm probably missing something.

I would suggest going to the 49ers forum and posting questions there. I think the concensus is that with a Democratic Congress and President that filing new mining claims will soon be a thing of the past- but existing claims will be Grandfathered in. HH Mark

Thanks for posting the link to their site. I have seen claims for sale before, but age and distance(Texas) are a drawback. I still get "gold fever" when I see the ads though.
I'll go to the 49er site.
